We are born with a nature and personality and it is only the knowledge we lack. Some babies are born with a jealous agenda and some with a selfish nature. Can’t blame parents cause its nature.

  1. But parents are the ones that shape us to what we are now.

  2. Yes, babies are born with an innocent nature, who does not understand the world yet. So parents are the one that are responsible for the development of a child’s mind.

  3. Some of the children’s character and behavioural traits are passed on through genes. So, its natural that the child will have jealous nature if one of the parent does. It is up to the parents to pass on character traits to their children and be a role model to them.

  4. You are contradicting by saying character traits are passed down and that parents are their role model. If parents are their role model, you are saying that they develop a child mind, not traits being passed down. Can character traits actually be passed down through genes?

  5. A number of genetic personality traits have been identified in human for example mental illnesses and alcoholism although it may be subtle.

  6. If a characteristic really can be passed down, it can be changed by the parents which are around them and educate them since they are young.
